Wrongful Termination

Favorable six-figure settlement for Bank  employee who was terminated without good cause. Plaintiff was an employee of the bank and its predecessor for over 12 years. Plaintiff started as a loan processor and over the years, was promoted to Vice President and Operations Manager. Plaintiff continued to receive salary increases and consistent performance reviews stating that she met and often exceeded performance expectations. Plaintiff's employment was terminated due to alleged violations of the Bank’s Code of Ethics, and later on was told by Human Resources that her termination was allegedly due to unsatisfactory performance.
